Talroo is a recruitment software company specializing in AI technologies that monitor job ads performance, moving them daily to high conversion sites to pair companies with essential workers. I worked for the company as a freelance scriptwriter and director until being brought on full-time as their Content & Brand Manager.

Talroo Careers Recruitment Video

I wrote, directed, and produced this commercial campaign for Talroo's internal recruitment - highlighting the vibrancy of Austin, TX,  scraping cliche tech culture, and weaving words between the company's executives for that unified touch.

Talroo x Austin FC Partnership

I directed and produced this collaboration video with our branding partner, Austin Football Club, to be premiered on game days. 

Talroo x Horseshoe Bay Resort

This project was a branding collaboration between Horseshoe Bay Resorts, Golf, and Country Clubs and Talroo, building brand trust within the recruitment hospitality space. I wrote, directed, and produced this case study and commercial. 

Talroo x Veho 

I wrote, directed and produced this script for both the Veho and Talroo brands. This was a spotlight collaboration for Veho in the last mile logistics space while building brand recognition for Talroo hiring technologies. 

Talroo x Pizza Hut

I interviewed, directed and produced this collaboration with Pizza Hut to expand the Talroo brand into fast casual and restaurant recruitment.

This project was a social cut for event and testimonials advertisements between Talroo, Pizza Hut, Veho, and Horseshoe Bay Resorts.

Questions with Talroo

 I brought up the idea as part of a series for Talroo to cut into mainstream culture -  the goal was to make our concept video informative, but entertaining and attention grabbing.  The project started with a parody of 73 Questions by Vogue and these are a few clips from my written script and production.

In the world of recruiting, there’s no way around the dilemma of cost-per-applicant pricing. Many employers help justify the price by working with vendors for a flat rate. They feel like they’re minimizing risk by knowing exactly what they’ll pay each month.

 

Ahhhh now they can sleep at night, right?

 

If only that were the case.

 

So, what’s the REAL problem?

 

It’s the fact that the internet runs on cost per click NOT cost per application.

 

Let me give you an example.

 

Let’s say you’re in the restaurant industry and you’re looking to hire a manager. You pay a vendor a fixed price of $12 per application.

 

Sounds nice, right?

 

It seems afford, low risk. Perhaps you get a click from a line chef, a server, AN ELVIS IMPERSONATOR, etc. – they ALL incur clicks, BUT they don’t apply, aren’t qualified, or so on AND SO ON.

They need to make a profit -

So, when your CPA is too high, they reduce your bids … drastically.

Never, right?

 

Instead of $12 being invested in hiring – it's getting swallowed by the internet, along with your candidates.

 

That’s a HUGE financial loss! Not to mention, a loss of opportunity and great hires!

I partnered with Talroo's Art Director to create bill board and social media spreads for geomarketing campaigns. These were cast from city to city as we planned events in accordance.

I created this campaign as a brand collaboration between SXSW and Talroo's CMO. We wanted to promote her live speaking event at the film/music festival, uplifting women and first generation Americans within the tech space.
